Welcome to S.C.A.N. – Supporters of Children with Additional Needs
Please be patient with us as we update our website.
S.C.A.N., is a support group for families of children with additional needs. We are families coming together to build a network of support and to share information.
Giving is what we do. We as parents, grandparents, siblings and caretakers of a child with additional needs all recognize the many challenges we face each day. S.C.A.N. is comprised of individuals, their families, providers, teachers, and coaches. They assist in enriching, consoling, educating, sharing frustrations, achievements, and most of all, fellowship.
What S.C.A.N. is all about:
- Advocacy
- Education
- Socialization
- Community Exposure
- Awareness
- Resources
- Tolerance
